FCC - 1
Fully Devoted to Believing
Discovering Worship
The Goal of This Class - That I will be Fully Devoted to
Believing in Christ.
Jesus said that the greatest commandment is this:
"Love the Lord your God with all you heart and with all your mind"
(Matthew 22:37). God desires a love relationship with each person He
created. That means that we are intended to worship God. The first
step in becoming a worshiper is to believe in Jesus Christ (Acts
16:31).
FCC-1 will introduce students what it means to have a love
relationship with God. We will discover loving God through
salvation, loving God through our expressions of worship (singing,
clapping, raising our hands, etc.).
This class is the first in the Following Christ
series, and it is designed especially for new believers or people
new to Central Assembly of God. It is also a great class for those
how have already completed the other four classes and desire a
deeper love relationship with God.
FCC - 4
Fully Devoted to Blessing
Discovering Worship
The Goal of This Class - That I will be Fully Devoted to
Blessing Others.
Jesus said that the second greatest commandment
was to "love your neighbor as yourself" (Matthew 22:39). Love for
our neighbors is expressed in ministry. Scripture teaches that every
member of God's family is gifted by God (1Peter 4:10), and each one
has an important ministry (1 Corinthians 12:18-22). The purpose of
these ministries it to build up the church, the body of Christ
(Ephesians 4:11-12).
FCC-4 will help each student to discover his or
her design for ministry. We will explore our personal experiences,
passions, personality traits, natural abilities, and spiritual
gifts, which all combine to equip believers for ministry in the
church. Students will will be introduced to the many ministry
opportunities available at Central.
This class was formerly Discovery 3. It is
designed for anyone who has completed FCC-1, 2 and 3, and for anyone
interested in involvement in ministry at Central Assembly of God.

FCC - 2
Fully Devoted to Belonging
Discovering Fellowship
The Goal of This Class - That I will be Fully Devoted to
Belonging to God's Family.
Jesus taught that every believer should be
baptized (Matthew 28:19-20), which signifies a person's commitment
to God and the community of believers. The book of Hebrews teaches
us that assembling together for fellowship is essential because
every believer needs to be encouraged in the faith (Hebrews 10:25).
FCC-2 will introduce students to what it means to
be a committed member of Central Assembly. We will discover that
every believer needs fellowship, that the church needs the gifts and
talents of each member, and that the church is God's agent for
reconciling himself to the world.
This class was formerly Discovery 1. It is
designed for anyone who has completed FCC-1 and for anyone
interested in membership at Central Assembly of God.
FCC - 5
Fully Devoted to Building
Discovering Evangelism
The Goal of This Class - That I will be Fully Devoted to
Building the Kingdom of God.
Jesus instructed his followers to "go and make
disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). God's desire is for every
person He created to be saved from an eternity in hell (1 Timothy
2:4 and 2 Peter 3:9). It is the responsibility of every believer to
engage in evangelism, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ, and
thus obey His Great Commission.
FCC-5 will equip students to effectively share the
Good News with unbelievers. We will learn that we can be Christ's
ambassadors by discovering our life mission, by sharing the message
for Good News, by fishing in our own fishing ponds, and by becoming
world-class Christians.
This class was formerly Discovery 4. It is
designed for anyone who has completed FCC-1, 2, 3 and 4, and anyone
interested in obeying Christ's Great Commission. It is also a
prerequisite for anyone participating in Central's mission trips. |
FCC - 3
Fully Devoted to Becoming
Discovering Discipleship
The goal of This Class - That I will be Fully
Devoted to Becoming like Jesus
Jesus said that every believer should be taught
to observer his commandments (Matthew 28:19-20). The process of
discipleship includes growth in knowledge (2Peter 3:18), good works
(Thessalonians 3:13), and love (Ephesians 4:16). True spiritual
maturity cannot be achieved without growth in all of these areas (1
Corinthians 13:2).
FCC-3 will introduce students to the
habits that lead to spiritual maturity. We will explore the habits
of Bible study, prayer, Spirit-filled living, giving, study with
others, and more. Students will be introduced to the ministries at
Central that are designed to produce spiritual growth in
Christ-followers.
This class was formerly Discovery 2.
It is designed for anyone who has completed FCC-1 and 2 and for
anyone who wants to grow in spiritual maturity.
